The Veterinarian With so many dogs in the household the veterinary bills can sum up very quickly. We actually have spent more money in veterinary care than human care. Fortunately we have a great veterinarian who is greyhound knowledgeable and knows what to do and how to communicate with clients to explain in simple and understandable way what can be wrong with the animal. The veterinarian we choose is one we feel comfortable with; he explains in detail all the pros and cons of medication, he explains all the details of the diseases, and he will do anything possible to save our animals whenever quality of life is not involved. He also recommends further treatments and referrals when the case is more specialized so we can receive all the proper opinions and more specialized care if necessary.
